MEMBERSHIP

 

 

Texas Public Purchasing Association welcomes new members and encourages participation from all facets of state and local government. Refer to the information and guidelines below for becoming a member.

 

Who can become a member of TxPPA?

Individuals: Any state, county, municipal, special district, publicly owned utility, school, federal (with an office in Texas), or publicly-funded non-profit employee in good standing primarily responsible for the purchasing or materials management function of their respective agency.

Agencies: Any entity as described above that is the employer of personnel primarily responsible for the purchasing or materials management function of their respective agency.

Associate Membership may be sought by any person indirectly involved in public or non-profit purchasing meeting certain criteria, such as elected officials, department heads or employees in related fields, such as judges, commissioners, treasurers, auditors, financial officers, city managers, etc. or working for an agency or association directly involved with above described entities, such as TML, TAC, COGS, etc.

«      Determining member needs and coordinating training opportunities

Special Assistance:

How do I join TxPPA?

The Charter Membership period has expired; however, regular membership is open and welcomed!

«      Membership period: January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009

«      Dues for one year are $50

«      If you are already a member of TCPA or TPMA, you will be sent an invoice

«      If you are not a member of TCPA or TPMA, but want to join, pick up a membership interest card today. You can fill it out and return it now or you can mail it back. Feel free to take a few back to the office with you and share the information with your peers.
